Greeley (Colo.) Country Club has selected KemperSports to manage the property. Built in 1920, Greeley Country Club is one of the oldest private clubs in the state, and becomes the latest addition to KemperCollection.
Located 50 miles north of Denver, the member-owned club includes an 18-hole golf course, regulation-sized swimming pool, tennis courts, and multiple dining options including banquet space. Originally built as a nine-hole course by Tom Bendelow in 1920, the course was expanded to 18 holes in 1962 by Press Maxwell.
“We are excited to welcome the experience and expertise of the KemperSports team to Greeley Country Club,” said Rick Meis, President of Greeley Country Club. “As the private club business has gotten more difficult to manage, and our marketing needs have become more apparent, the club’s Board of Directors decided it was in the best interest of the club to get a professional club management company to help us manage and market the club to ensure we will remain a vibrant club for another 90 years.”
Upon assuming management duties, KemperSports will evaluate all aspects of the club including membership categories and programs as well as implementing service training practices for all staff.
“Greeley Country Club has been an important part of the Greeley community for nearly a century,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “We look forward to getting to know the members and enhancing the member experience and programs.”
