Bull Valley Golf Club, a private club in Woodstock, Ill., selected KemperSports to take over management.
Built in 1988, Bull Valley has hosted the 2010 Chicago District Golf Association Amateur Championship and was a host site for the 2010 U.S. Open Qualifier.
In addition to the golf course, the club includes a recently renovated 37,000-sq. ft. clubhouse featuring multiple dining rooms, grill, men’s and women’s locker rooms, pro shop, member lounge, and two banquet rooms that can host up to 400 guests. Expansive outdoor gathering spaces can accommodate weddings and gatherings with up to 300 guests.
Designed by Dick Nugent, Bull Valley has garnered numerous awards from national golf publications, including being ranked as the 19th best golf course in the state by Golf Digest in their bi-annual state-by-state ranking.
“I can attest that every hole at Bull Valley is memorable,” said Golf Digest Architecture Editor, Ron Whitten. “Bull Valley’s back nine is simply superb, hole for hole as good and varied as anything I’ve seen in greater Chicago.”
Bull Valley Golf Club becomes the 15th KemperSports-managed facility in Illinois.
“Bull Valley is one of the iconic clubs in the Northwest Chicago region,” said Steve Skinner, chief executive officer of KemperSports. “We look forward to expanding member benefits and improving customer service levels throughout the club.”
