KemperLesnik, the Northbrook, Ill. sports marketing, events and public relations agency, has been selected by The PGA of America as the public relations agency for the 73rd Senior PGA Championship. In this role, KemperLesnik will help generate awareness and drive ticket sales.
The 73rd Senior PGA Championship. presented by KitchenAid, will be held at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Mich. May 22 – 27, 2012. Due to high demand and a limited number of tickets, The PGA of America has created a free registration process for those interested in purchasing tickets for the Championship. The Senior PGA Championship is the most historic and prestigious event in senior golf. Former champions include legendary golf professionals Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Arnold Palmer. In 2011, the Championship was held at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Ky., where eight-time professional major winner Tom Watson captured the title for the second time in his career.
