In addition to a new pool deck, green surfaces, bunker sand, and three new clay tennis courts, the Bogart, Ga., property has renewed its commitment to its flourishing junior tennis program.
Jennings Mill Country Club in Bogart, Ga., has unveiled significant enhancements to its property, including its golf course that hosted PGA Tour’s Web.com events.
A new pool deck, green surfaces, bunker sand, televisions in the fitness center and three new clay tennis courts are some of the highlights of the Billy Casper Golf-managed property.
“Jennings Mill has made a substantial investment to make our A+ club into an A++ club,” said General Manager Doug Fisher. “A commitment to our junior tennis program, and the girls’ success on the court, also shows Jennings Mill is thriving.”
Jennings Mill is also flourishing with its strong junior tennis program. A new swim program is now offered and is open to all ability levels, with teachings based on step-by-step stroke-building techniques used by elite swimmers.
The championship golf course at Jennings Mill was designed by Bob Cupp in 1986. Open to public play since 2011, the par-72, 7,000-yard layout was built on scenic, hilly terrain. Narrow fairways, creeks and lakes combine for a stern but fair test to golfers of all skill levels.
Jennings Mill hosted the Web.com Tour’s Athens Regional Foundation Classic from 2006-09, the PGA Tour Qualifying school and the Georgia State Golf Association Mid-Amateur Championship.
The club features 11 lighted tennis courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, inviting clubhouse and elegant dining rooms.
