The Longwood, Fla.-based company is expanding its offerings through a custom-designed, comprehensive “white glove” program that evaluates each club’s unique exposure, provides a plan to address identified risks, trains employees and leverages “Internet of Things” technology to monitor the health of involved properties on a 24/7 basis.
Insurance Office of America (IOA) is expanding its offerings through the launch of its new Smart Club Program.
IOA’s Smart Club Program is custom-designed to meet the unique and ever-changing needs of clubs, including athletic, city, country, faculty, golf, military, town and yacht clubs.
The Smart Club Program’s custom design goes well beyond the insurance policy, as a comprehensive “white glove” program that evaluates each club’s unique exposures, provides a plan to address identified risks, trains club employees, and leverages new “IoT” (“Internet of Things) technology to monitor the health of involved properties on a 24/7 basis.
“In the past, insurance has always been viewed as transactional,” explained Smart Club Program Administrator Jeffery Magoon. “Today, when a club chooses an insurance broker, its leadership looks at the value provided beyond the transaction of transferring risk.”
“Because of our understanding of the club industry, we’ve built the program to reduce risk, lower costs, and leverage technology, so club management and Boards can focus on enhancing the member experience,” Magoon added.
Added Heath Ritenour, IOA’s Chairman and CEO: “IOA is dedicated to leading the insurance industry in new technologies that deliver major value to our clients while lowering their overall costs. The Smart Club Program is one of our exciting new initiatives that fulfills that mission.”
