The National Restaurant Association has recognized the Red Gold® product with a Food and Beverage Innovation Award as one of America’s most innovative products for 2017. The spicy ketchup was cited as “the perfect addition of sweet heat in an operation’s condiment offering.”
Huy Fong® Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce Ketchup by Red Gold® has earned recognition as one of America’s most innovative products for 2017. The National Restaurant Association (NRA) announced that the product has earned a Food and Beverage Innovation Award (FABI), saying that the spicy ketchup is “the perfect addition of sweet heat in an operation’s condiment offering.”
This year’s 36 FABI Award recipients were selected based on their positive benefits to restaurant operators and consumers by an independent panel of experts, representing a variety of both commercial and non-commercial industry segments.
“The FABI Awards offer restaurant operators an inside look at the future of food and beverage, as the industry continues to innovate and move forward,” said Atour Eyvazian, Convention Chair for NRA Show 2017, and multi-unit owner of 107 Jack in the Box restaurants in Houston and San Antonio. “It’s very exciting to discover new flavors, on-trend menu items and delicious food that’s both nutritious and allergy-friendly.”
Each award recipient and their product will be showcased throughout the exhibit halls at the NRA Show 2017, which will be held from May 20 to 23 in Chicago at McCormick Place. Operators can taste the distinctive sriracha ketchup during the NRA Show at Red Gold’s Booth 8736.
