Dan Davis, PGA, is the Director of Golf at Branson Hills Golf Club in Branson, Mo. He switched to lithium batteries this year, his first time using them in the golf operation. He explains why.
“We chose an E-Z-GO golf cart fleet with lithium batteries,” Davis said. “There are several benefits to using carts with lithium batteries. They can go two rounds without losing their charge, they provide a cost savings through taking less time to charge and holding their charge longer, and they weigh about 200 pounds less than carts with lead cell batteries. That means less of a footprint, less wear and tear on the golf course.”
C+RB featured E-Z-GO’s ELiTE Lithium options in July 2018.
