Private Club Associates of Georgia (PCA) has assumed full-service management responsibilities for Harlingen (Texas) Country Club in the Rio Grande Valley with a three-year contract. Immediate emphasis is dealing with the COVID-19 consequences and the club’s successful return to full operations. A strategic plan to address the effects the pandemic has had on all of the club’s stakeholders—members, staff, purveyors and the Harlingen community is being developed.
“We are grateful for PCA’s presence in this time of crisis, and taking advantage of PCA’s long and successful club management and consulting experience,” Club President Kay Conly said.
Harlingen Country Club, located in sub-tropical south Texas, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019. The member-owned club features an 18-hole Dave Bennett & Leon Howard championship golf course, practice facilities, tennis, fitness, wellness, swimming, junior programming and an array of dining and social options centered in the club’s hacienda-style clubhouse.
