Half Moon Bay (Calif.) Golf Links announced that Mitchell Lowe, an elite instructor and former Canadian PGA TOUR player, has been named Director of Instruction.
Lowe has a 16-year track record as an award-winning golf instructor as well as a private coach for PGA TOUR, Nationwide TOUR, and Canadian PGA TOUR golfers. He is firmly entrenched in the Northern California golf industry, having worked at TPC Harding Park Golf Course in San Francisco, Del Rio Country Club in Modesto, and Lockeford Springs Golf Course in Lodi.
In addition, Lowe played professional golf for 13 years including participation in two major championships and seven PGA TOUR events. He is a three-time Northern California PGA Player of the Year and tied for sixth place in the 2010 PGA Professional National Championship.
As Director of Instruction, Lowe will oversee the newly established “Half Moon Bay Golf Links Academy of Golf,” including short game schools, corporate clinics, junior golf camps, on-course schools, and private lessons.
