Grey Oaks Country Club (Naples, Fla.) raised more than $3.8 million for 70 Collier County nonprofit organizations through its Grey Oaks Cares philanthropic initiative.
This year, the initiative expanded into a six-day, club-wide Week of Giving that mobilized members, staff, and leadership across the community, reinforcing Grey Oaks’ longstanding commitment to charitable leadership in Naples.

- Habitat for Humanity of Collier County
- Harry Chapin Food Banks of Southwest Florida
- Naples Children’s Foundation
- Naples Zoo
- Neighborhood Health Clinic
- Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee
- St. Matthew’s House
- The Shelter for Abused Women and Children
- Warrior Homes of Collier County
- And more nonprofits
Nonprofit partners are able to apply Grey Oaks Cares funding in ways that directly advance their missions in meaningful ways. For example, Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee and the Guadalupe Center are expanding their facilities to accommodate more children and provide additional educational programs.
Grey Oaks Cares is led by a volunteer committee of members working in partnership with club leadership and staff to ensure strategic allocation of funds and long-term community impact.
This year’s effort surpassed its fundraising goal and marked a substantial expansion from last year’s inaugural single-day golf tournament, which generated $750,000. Over the past two years, Grey Oaks Cares has quickly become one of the community’s most significant philanthropic initiatives.

As an organization, we are proud to galvanize our members, staff and partners around a shared purpose and to channel that energy into meaningful support for the nonprofits that help strengthen Collier County.”
Reflecting the spirit, energy and lifestyle of Grey Oaks, the Feb. 1-6 Week of Giving demonstrated the generosity and engagement of the community. Club members participated in pickleball and bocce competitions, tennis drills with the pros and an off-court trivia contest, an eight-mile cycling ride around the Grey Oaks community loop, mahjong and canasta events, and a golf tournament raising charitable dollars through donations, raffles, live auctions and the second annual Grey Oaks Cares dinner and charity event.
“Grey Oaks Cares represents our club at its very best: members and staff united by a shared sense of responsibility and service,” says Mary Perry, Board Chair. “The level of generosity and participation throughout the Week of Giving is a powerful expression of our values in action and a testament to the lasting impact we can achieve together.”
Grey Oaks Country Club serves the Grey Oaks and Estuary communities, members from Moorings Park at Grey Oaks, and non-resident club members. Amenities include three championship golf courses, a state-of-the-art wellness center, two clubhouses, tennis, pickleball, bocce, and a resort-style pool.
