The new 30,000-sq. ft. facility at the Naples, Fla., property includes a 3,000-sq. ft. ambulatory care clinic for minor emergency and basic primary care that is staffed four days a week. The Wellness Center includes a 11,000-sq. ft. gym floor, fitness studios, yoga and bocce lawn, spa, relaxation suite and Wellness Café.
On February 23, Grey Oaks Country Club in Naples, Fla., opened a new 30,000-sq. ft. Wellness Center complete with an ambulatory care clinic, NCH Grey Oaks Wellness Clinic, staffed with NCH Physician Group providers, the Naples Daily News reported.
NCH Grey Oaks Wellness is available for members, family members, guests, and team members to receive minor emergency and basic primary care in the community. The clinic will be able to treat patients for a variety of needs, from sniffles to stitches and will offer referrals to specialists in the NCH network. Patients will be able to walk in to receive care. The clinic has 3,000 sq. ft. and features three patient rooms, three consultation rooms, resident and team member waiting rooms, office space and small group education area, the Daily News reported.
The club’s partnership with NCH dates back to 2012 when the Grey Oaks teamed up with NCH Healthcare System to offer physical therapy services on site. The program started with two half days a week and has grown to four full days and now has dedicated space inside the new Wellness Center, the Daily News reported.
”The amenity of allowing the membership to rehab in their own backyards has come with overwhelming success and led the club to the conclusion that they need to supply more medical services to our members and team,” said General Manager Jim Butler.
The Wellness Center includes a 11,000-sq. ft. gym floor with a Queenax machine for suspended weight training and unique group fitness. In additional to the cardio floor, the Wellness Center will host a Pilates reformer studio, yoga studio, aerobics studio, spin studio, yoga lawn, bocce lawn, spa, relaxation suite and Wellness Café.
The Wellness Center is the second phase of a $30 million capital improvement project that the club has been ongoing since 2015. The new amenities include a resort pool, casual dining restaurant, new tennis center, eight Har-Tru courts, two pickleball courts, children’s playground, golf performance center, a renovation of the Pine and Palm golf courses, and a renovation of the Estuary clubhouse, the Daily News reported.
