Brookhaven Country Club, a member of the ClubCorp family, announces a renovations project to The Champions Course that will bring new and expanded greens and an updated irrigation system.
The private, Farmers Branch, Texas club’s current TifDwarf Bermuda greens will be upgraded to TifEagle ultradwarf Bermuda greens (matching the premier Master’s Course greens), the greens will be expanded to the original design of the course and the irrigation system will be updated as well. The course will be closed during construction, which will begin May 27 and is expected to be complete by August. During renovations, the members will still have access to the Masters Course and The President’s Course.
“We are very excited about the improvements,” said General Manager Lisa Neel. “This ambitious renovation to our golf course will help our club maintain the prominence and prestige that our members expect and deserve.”
Brookhaven Country Club offers 54 holes of golf, a 10-acre driving range and a four-hole short-game practice area. The tennis facility boasts 41 courts, including indoor and outdoor accommodations, and both hard and clay surfaces. Additional amenities include the Brookhaven Grille and 55 Lounge, a resort-style pool complex, extensive athletic/fitness facility with personal trainers and massage therapists, and a child development center.
