The Grapevine (Texas) Golf Course clubhouse will be receiving upgrades in the form of new locker rooms, a pro shop and a restaurant, Community Impact Newspaper reported. The $4.8 million project received voter approval in the city’s 2017 bond program. The clubhouse will be situated in Grapevine’s 27-hole course.
Grapevine City Council approved a $3.9 million build contract with Steele & Freeman at an April 21 meeting, Community Impact Newspaper reported. The city intends for the clubhouse to serve as a multipurpose facility, including offering event space for banquets, corporate events and more.
The golf course, which is closed until further notice amid the COVID-19 pandemic, currently offers a golf shop, practice facilities including putting areas, a Mulligans Grill restaurant and a meeting facility, Community Impact Newspaper reported.
