Reviewers for the website that publishes course reviews and ratings “for golfers, by golfers” for clubs that are open to the public combined ratings for food and beverage and the conditions of the overall facility to issue its list for 2015. Yoche Dehe GC in Brooks, Calif., part of the Cache Creek Casino, took the top spot.

 

GolfAdvisor.com, a website that publishes course reviews and ratings “for golfers, by golfers” of clubs that are open to the public, issued its 2015 ranking of the Top 25 Clubs for Off-Course Amenities. The rankings were determined by combining a course’s food-and-beverage score from golfers’ ratings with its conditions-of-overall facility rating, GolfAdvisor said.

For 2016, the website noted, it has changed its rating system to now combine F&B and overall conditions ratings into one category called “off course amenities,” which will be used to release future lists.

Here are the courses that were included in GolfAdvisor’s 2015 list of the Top 25 for Off-Course Amenities, with a sample reviewer’s comment:

 

1. Yocha Dehe Golf Club at Cache Creek, Brooks, Calif.

“From the practice facilities, restaurant service, course conditions, and pace of play, everything was great.”

 

2. Tranquilo Golf Club at Four Seasons, Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

“Carts are new. Range included – titelist balls. Coffee or Tea on arrival. Bottles of water in coolers on cart. Cold towels at finish.”

 

3. Waldorf Astoria Golf Club, Orlando, Fla.
