Growing the game of golf involves sharing your passion for the sport. And so the Golf Academy of America (GAA) Phoenix Campus is now offering free golf lessons to the public. Fourth-semester students are being given the opportunity to give public lessons while completing their practical training to earn their teaching certification.
“The opportunity to gain experience teaching junior and beginner-level golfers helps our students to develop their teaching skills,” Phoenix campus director and PGA Master Professional Tim Eberlein says. “Plus the public enjoys the opportunity to improve their golf games. This is a win-win for everyone.”
