Even as a huge mob of eastern grey kangaroos lounged and frolicked in fairways and around the greens, golfers at Sanctuary Point Country Club continued to play through (of course). The ‘roos did practice proper golf etiquette, remaining still and quiet during players’ shots.
Golfers in Australia encountered a host of unusual hazards during a recent outing, ABC News reported
On April 6, Greg Tannos was playing a round at Sanctuary Point Country Club when a mob of eastern grey kangaroos decided to hop around the course.
But not surprisingly, Tannos treated the mob like just another obstacle to surmount, trying to play through while wheeling his clubs behind him.
The kangaroos frolicked around the green and showed respect for the game by standing still and quiet while he took his shots.
(According to Wikipedia, terms that can be used to describe a group of kangaroos include mob, troop or court.)
