The campaign includes a series of commercials, the first of which will air during pre-game programming on February 4. The videos depict cautionary tales of golfers who aren’t golfing, including an office worker who’s stuck in a loop at his desk.
GolfNow, among the suite of digital businesses managed by Golf Channel and part of the NBC Sports Group, will air a series of television commercials, with the first airing during this year’s pre-game programming for the Super Bowl, which airs Sunday, February 4 at 6:30 p.m. on NBC.
The campaign centers around the finding that every golfer wishes they could play more, but often let excuses get in the way. As part of the launch, videos depict cautionary tales of golfers who aren’t golfing. One features a golfer who’s been raking leaves for eight years straight, while another depicts an office worker who’s stuck in a gif-like loop at his desk, and a third features a man whose millennial son won’t move out of the house.
The line “Why golf later when you can GolfNow?” punctuates each spot.
