Through the project, the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. property has renovated its Arnold Palmer Signature golf course, refurbished and modernized its Grande Clubhouse, and opened a Tennis Complex. A multipurpose restaurant to serve golfers at the Turn Station, swimmers at the poolside window and other casual diners is scheduled to open by spring of 2019, along with an expanded Fitness Center that includes a youth club, and refurbished Guest Suites.
Frenchman’s Reserve Country Club, located two miles from the Atlantic Ocean in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., was taken over by its membership in 2014, and that transition marked the beginning of an $18 million renovation project that is now nearing completion.
The club’s Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course was completely renovated in 2016. Frenchman’s professional golf staff now assimilates new members into the club’s golf environment by running weekly tournaments and offering group and individual lessons, as well as golf conditioning at the on-site Titleist Performance Institute.
The club’s 45,000-sq. ft. Grande Clubhouse was also refurbished and modernized in 2016, and in the fall of 2018, a newly built Tennis Complex opened with seven lighted Hydrogrid clay tennis courts, a multi-sport court for basketball and pickleball, elevated seating, and a wraparound terrace with a solar-activated awning.
Members looking to improve their game can now work with the club’s tennis professionals, who coordinate a continuous schedule of tennis lessons, clinics, and tournaments for all levels of play. The USPTA-certified staff also manages more than 30 social and competitive events throughout the year, from friendly pick-up matches to organized play.
As the final parts of the $18 million project, dining amenities are being added at Frenchman’s Reserve CC, with a brand-new multipurpose restaurant scheduled to open by the spring of 2019. The kitchen will serve golfers at the Turn Station, swimmers at the poolside window and casual diners in the full-service restaurant.
Also, to continue the community’s emphasis on a healthy lifestyle, an expanded Fitness Center will nearly triple in size this spring, to feature state-of-the-art equipment and technology in multiple fitness studios. Certified trainers will use the center to create personalized programs in TPI golf fitness training, TRX suspension training, nutrition education and more.
The Fitness Center will also be home to a calendar of classes, treatment rooms, and outpatient rehabilitation staffed by the Jupiter (Fla.) Medical Center. And when members want to relax and be pampered, the rejuvenating Spa & Salon provides a variety of massages, facials, and body treatments, as well as manicures, pedicures, and full hair-salon services.
A brand-new, fully staffed CORE Club youth center will offer age-specific rooms with interactive games, homework stations and an expanded outdoor playground facility. Frenchman’s Reserve CC offers year-round summer and holiday camps.
The club’s Guest Suites are also being refurbished, with new king-size beds, flat-screen TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, kitchenettes, and oversized balconies, creating a resort-style setting for guests with the club’s other amenities just steps away.
Frenchman’s Reserve has been recognized as a Platinum Club of America for four years in a row and is on the list of Distinguished Clubs of America.
