PGA Championship officials announced a new junior ticket program that will give free entry for two children 17 years of age and younger per ticketed adult to the 2009 PGA Championship, to be held August 10-16 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn.
No special requirements are necessary to participate in the junior ticket program. When accompanied by a ticketed adult, up to two juniors will receive daily passes good for free entry upon arrival at the 2009 PGA Championship ticket gate.
“The 2009 PGA Championship offers Minnesotans a rare chance to see a major championship, featuring golf’s greatest competing in their backyard,” said Michael Belot, 2009 PGA Championship Director. “This program makes it easy for families to share this exciting opportunity with the next generation of golfers in this state.”
