Four women have come forward and claimed employees at the spa at Doral Golf Resort & Spa, Miami, Fla, sexually assaulted them. Two woman came forward with their allegations in early February, and now, according to NBC Miami, two other women plan to sue the resort for sexual assault by spa workers.
The first incident surfaced in early February, when a victim claimed that David Muñoz, 27, sexually assaulted her during a massage in January. Muñoz was arrested on a single count of sexual battery and bailed out of jail. A second victim came forward less than a week later and claimed that another masseur, John J. Pacheco, sexually assaulted her during a massage.
Attorney Jeffrey Herman said Pacheco “touched the victim in a grotesque, sexual manner against her will and without her consent.”
Herman now says that two more women will file suit against the spa for sexual assault.
The spa is associated with the Pritikin Longevity Center. Doral Golf Resort & Spa recently filed for bankruptcy but is hosting the World Golf Championships Cadillac Championship, which attracts top PGA golfers, this week.
