Forewinds Hospitality, Newark, Del., has been selected to be the interim operator of Garrisons Lake Golf Club, Smyrna, Del. through January 31, 2011 by the State of Delaware’s Department of Parks and Recreation. Among its clubs and clients, Forewinds Hospitality currently operates Deerfield Golf & Tennis Club in Newark, Del., a property also owned by the State of Delaware.

The Golf Course at Garrisons Lake, Inc. had operated the club since its renovation and reopening in 2008.  After this interim management agreement with Forewinds Hospitality, the State of Delaware will seek a long term operator via a Request For Proposal process due to commence by February 1, 2011.
