Mizner Country Club in Delray Beach, Fla., has announced the launch of Mizner University, an innovative professional leadership development program created to cultivate and advance internal talent into future leadership roles.

This structured, four-month, in-house initiative is designed to empower Mizner team members with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to lead effectively within the organization.

“I am proud to announce the establishment of Mizner University,” said Mark Bado, MCM, CCE General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Mizner Country Club. “Our core focus is to foster a leadership mindset among our staff—empowering them with the tools and support necessary to grow and succeed.”

Bado noted that Mizner University offers a dynamic blend of weekly sessions, interactive learning, and one-on-one mentorship, providing participants with a comprehensive foundation in both leadership principles and club operations. “The program reflects Mizner’s ongoing commitment to professional development, team engagement, and excellence in service,” Bado added.

Titled “Elevating Talent. Inspiring Leaders — Internal Leadership Growth for a Stronger Tomorrow,” the program focuses on four key areas: leadership mindset, operational excellence, professional growth, and internal promotion. Over the four-month period, the program features weekly recurring sessions that include:
– Leadership Book Reviews – Guided discussions on influential leadership literature to inspire growth and perspective.
– Club Operations Insights – In-depth sessions led by Mizner’s senior leadership team focusing on strategic and day-to-day operational excellence.
– Guest Speakers – Presentations and mentorship from prominent industry leaders offering real-world insights and inspiration.

To further support this initiative and reinforce the club’s commitment to a thriving workplace culture, they have engaged Kristen Hadeed—speaker, author, and expert in human leadership—to lead sessions designed to help the team articulate Mizner’s core values and establish a shared cultural foundation.

“I’m thrilled to launch the Mizner University program—our in-house professional leadership initiative designed to develop confident, capable leaders within our team. Through engaging weekly sessions, mentorship, and hands-on learning in leadership principles and club operations, we’re investing in the growth of our people. I’m excited to witness their progress and continue building strong leaders throughout every department,” said Melissa Gaynor, Mizner’s Director of Engagement & Culture.
