Gleneagles Country Club in Delray Beach, Fla., opened its new Tennis and Pickleball Center, which officially welcomed members March 17. To commemorate this milestone, the club hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration March 22, with more than 400 members in attendance.
The completion of this cutting-edge facility marks a significant achievement in Gleneagles Country Club’s long-term strategic vision. Designed from the ground up, this project delivers an unparalleled experience for racquet sports enthusiasts, combining world-class amenities with modern architecture and innovative design. The new facility is more than 8,000 sq. ft. and is located central to the club’s 19 tennis courts and eight pickleball courts. The project was completed on schedule and is trending to come in just under the $5.3 million budget. The project was funded with existing capital funds – no new assessment required.
The brand-new facility features a large, state-of-the-art pro shop stocked with a variety of bestselling tennis, pickleball, and leisure apparel, equipment, and accessories. Luxurious locker rooms provide members with enhanced comfort, while the oversize covered patio features an abundance of viewing areas for tennis and pickleball matches as well as multiple soft seating lounge areas with TVs. Members enjoy a complimentary coffee bar and soft drinks, in addition to the availability of a new grab and go amenity that offers a variety of breakfast, lunch, snack, and upgraded beverage options for members looking to fuel their game or relax after a match. Additional enhancements include a large area for social gatherings with ample space for food and beverage and entertainment, upgraded audio/visual technology, resurfaced sidewalks and parking areas, and lush landscaping to further enhance the overall ambiance.

With the successful completion of this transformative project, Gleneagles Country Club reaffirms its commitment to delivering exceptional recreational and social experiences for its members. Since 2011, the club has invested over $75 million into its facilities – including award-winning Kipp Schulties redesigns of both of Gleneagles’ golf courses, renovations to the clubhouse, a new construction Healthy Lifestyle Center, and a state-of-the-art Community Maintenance Center.
