Gary Player and Black Knight International executives have joined developer Santiago Obarrio and his family in Mendoza, Argentina for the launch of the first Gary Player Signature Course in that country. Located in the heart of the Mendocino wine country, Aymuray Wine & Golf Club integrates wine-making, golf, polo, nature trails, and six-star resort amenities spread over 10,000 acres at the foot of the Andes Mountains.

Design work has already begun on the Gary Player-designed course, which will be routed through the valleys of the Aymuray highlands. Prior to the marketing launch on February 24th, Gary Player and Senior Designer Brian Lussier walked the site and discussed design concepts for the 18-hole championship layout that is scheduled to be completed in the next two years.

The development will also offer up to 500 residential units of various sizes. A unique feature of the larger estates will be the privately kept vineyards, each of which will harvest grapes according to the palates and preferences of the estate owners.
