FiberBuilt Umbrellas Inc., a Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based manufacturer of high quality retail and contract shade products, announced today that their Guy Harvey Outdoors division has expanded from the original collection of furniture to include new fabrics, hammocks, tents and accessories.
The fabric offerings going into the 2011 season include an even wider variety of Guy Harvey-inspired fabrics for use on cushions, pillows and umbrellas. New patterns and colorways featuring turtles, dolphins, marlins and angel fish have been added.
The new Hammock, which accommodates two, has a frame fashioned from eucalyptus wood. The 10′ x 10′ easy-open, pop up Tents have powder-coated steel frames and the canopies feature images of Guy Harvey’s renowned sailfish and marlin paintings.
In addition to the furniture and portable tents, the Guy Harvey Outdoors line also includes eight designs of large Sea Towels, perfect for use at the beach, on a chaise or in the car, as well as two-styles of Golf Umbrellas, featuring sturdy fiberglass shaft and ribs.
CEO Paul Knapp stated, “We have been extremely pleased by the response to our Guy Harvey Outdoors products and we are adding these new items to accommodate the strong demand for these designs and the lifestyle they evoke.”
Per the licensing agreement with Guy Harvey, Inc., a percentage of each sale is donated to The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 marine conservation organization whose primary mission is to conduct scientific marine research and educational outreach initiatives.
