In this special Thursday Filmfest edition, club employees dance to Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” and a 200-pound bear takes a dip at San Luis Obispo Country Club.
Club staffs are not immune to Pharrell Williams’ contagious international hit “Happy,” as employees and members at Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Creek & Yacht Club in the United Arab Emirates show as they dance along to the uplifting tune.
At San Luis Obispo (Calif.) Country Club (SLOCC), an employee spotted what he thought was a dog that turned out to be a 200-pound bear, the San Luis Obispo-based KSBY News reported.
The bear took a swim in a pond on the golf course, and then rested in one of the culverts in front of the 14th green. Animal control used a bean bag gun to chase the bear into the river area behind the green. Mike Stanton, SLOCC’s General Manager, told C&RB that the bear “wasn’t happy” about that tactic.
The video below was taken by Rick Griswold (contains swear words).
C&RB featured San Luis Obispo CC as its  January cover story (“Restoring the California Dream“).
