Etonic will offer a free glove with purchase of golf shoes; Bridgestone is teaming with Michelob ULTRA to offer “Golfer’s Ultimate 6-pack”
Westborough, Mass.-based Etonic has announced a Father’s Day promotion through which it will offer a free The Perfect Fit glove with the purchase of a pair of golf shoes through June 30, 2011. The current lineup of Etonic golf shoes, including the Stabilizer, Sof-Tech, Dri-Tech, Sport-Tech, Lite-Tech and G>SOK, will qualify for the promotion. The suggested retail of the Perfect Fit glove is $18.
The Father’s Day glove promotion will be redeemed directly through Etonic, with consumers simply completing an information card located in the shoe box, and sending it in with the sales receipt and UPC label. “The Father’s Day promotion gives us an opportunity to sample the Perfect Fit glove to golfers and gives Dad something extra for his game this year,” said Kent Wheeler, Director of Sales and Marketing, Etonic Worldwide.
For the Bridgestone Golf promotion, the Covington, Ga.-based company is partnering with Michelob ULTRA to market, where legal, a limited-edition package featuring five Michelob ULTRA Slimline cans and a three-ball sleeve of Bridgestone’s e6 golf balls.
“Working together with Michelob ULTRA, we have created a fun promotion that is sure to be a winner this Father’s Day season,” said Dan Murphy, Bridgestone Golf’s Vice President of Marketing.
“Michelob ULTRA’s partnership with Bridgestone is one of many ways we continue to show our commitment to increasing adult players’ experience on and off the course,” addd Ryan Moore, Director, Michelob ULTRA. “The ‘Golfer’s Ultimate 6-Pack’ represents the best of both worlds for adult golfers: the perfect ball for the first 18 holes, and the right beer for the 19th.”
The Golfer’s Ultimate 6-Pack will be released on May 23 and is the first retail package to combine Michelob ULTRA with Bridgestone e6 golf balls at the point of purchase. The promotion includes nearly 500,000 sleeves of e6 balls, making it one of the largest golf ball samplings in recent history.
