Nearly 60 percent of the club’s 29,000 sq. ft. has been converted into an indoor/outdoor casual dining venue, tripling the size of the original casual dining footprint. This space provides multiple seating options and maximizes panoramic views of the golf course and outdoor social areas. Additional improvements include new meeting spaces, two pickleball courts, two bocce courts, casual outdoor patio seating with fire tables and an expanded fitness center.

Together with architect AM Design Studio Group and interior designers from M Design Studio, Heatherwood Construction created an updated space with abundant gathering venues for all occasions. The design features clean, modern lines and coastal accents and colors. All areas exude a casual sophistication and include several historical design elements, including the first clubhouse doors, that have been preserved and serve as a source of great pride among the membership.
“It has been an exciting nine months for us here at the club,” said General Manager Joseph Iafe. “Our design and construction partners have delivered a stunning venue for our members to enjoy. During a time, fraught with supply chain challenges, they remained focused on a timely project completion. We look forward to celebrating our 35th year in our new space and expect to enjoy these amenities well into the future.”
Founded in 1986, ECC is an Audubon Certified Sanctuary with a 7,072 yard, 18-Hole Gordon Lewis-designed course on 105 acres surrounded by lakes. In 2018, the famed golf course designer completed a multi-million-dollar course restoration.
