ABC has teamed with chef, TV personality and bestselling author Jamie Oliver for an unscripted series airing Fridays beginning March 26, 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET for six one-hour episodes. Jamie’s Food Revolution is a coproduction between Oliver’s own Fresh One Productions and Ryan Seacrest Productions.
In the series, Jamie Oliver heads to Huntington, W. Va.-which has been called the unhealthiest city in America-to start his new cooking initiative. He hopes his efforts will help get Huntington off that list and start a chain reaction of positive change across the country.
Electrolux Professional North America has teamed up with Jamie Oliver and Pastor Steve Willis of First Baptist Church in Kenova, W. Va. lectrolux Professional, Willis and members of his congregation worked to build a healthy kitchen in their new community center adjacent to the First Baptist Church in Kenova. The initiative is to bring together outlying communities and people of any religious denomination, to promote healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle. The kitchen includes an Electrolux Professional dish machine, refrigerators, S90 Range series and an air-o-convect hybrid convection oven. The kitchen is open for the community to use on an ongoing basis for groups upwards of 300 people. The staff on site was trained by Electrolux Professional Certified Chef Keith Jones
