The end of the year also marks the last day for registering in time to be eligible for a free Crown Verity gas grill. New Conference features this year include a special “Culinary Medicine” class and a free career-counseling session.
December 31, 2014 will be the last day for those registering for Club & Resort Business’ 2015 Chef to Chef Conference, to be held March 1-3 in Savannah, Ga., to earn the 5% early-bird registration discount.
Registrations also need to be completed by the end of the year to be eligible for a drawing to win a 36-inch gas grill from Crown Verity, the Brantford, Ont.-based equipment manufacturer.
The full agenda and speaker lineup for the 2015 Conference, along with registration details, can be found at www.CheftoChefConference.com
Conference registrants can also sign up for a special class on “Culinary Medicine” to be held on Sunday morning, March 1. Conducted by Leah Sarris, Program Director of the Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine at Tulane University’s School of Medicine in New Orleans, and Walter Zuromski, CEC, CCE, President of the Chef Services Group in Lincoln, R.I. and founding member of the Research Chefs Association, the class will provide participants with special insights into preparing more healthful menu items, including gluten-free options, sugar-free desserts, and other low-fat and heart-healthy dishes.
The Culinary Medicine class will include demonstrations for preparation of a complete menu, including soup and salad, main course and dessert, that will then be served for lunch.
To register for the Culinary Medicine class, go to http://www.eventbrite.com/e/culinary-medicine-2015-chef-to-chef-conference-special-event-tickets-14750654605?ref=ebtn
Another new feature being added to the 2015 Chef to Chef Conference will be the opportunity for attendees to have free, one-on-one career counseling sessions with Kopplin & Kuebler, the career-planning and club-industry placement specialists. Lisa Carroll of Kopplin & Kuebler, which is returning as a Conference sponsor for the third consecutive year, will be available on Sunday, March 1, for complimentary 45-minute individual sessions, during which she will provide direction on:
- Career planning
- Personal strategic planning
- Communication skills
- Executive presence
- Mentoring recommendations
- Other assistance to help reach the next level in your career (including interviewing tips, and cover letter and resume recommendations)
Space for the free sessions on “Career Planning in Savannah: A Roadmap to Success!” is limited, however—and available only to Conference registrants. If you are already registered for the Conference, sign up for your free coaching session on Sunday, March 1st at https://kopplinandkuebler.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php
And again, if you have not yet registered for the Conference, be sure to do so at www.CheftoChefConference.com by December 31, to take advantage of the 5% early-bird registration discount.
