The Itasca, Ill., property has renovated its patio and restaurant in the most recent phase of improvement projects. Another round of renovations is scheduled for the fall that will include the addition of floor-to-ceiling windows in the resort’s events pavilion, to provide views of the golf course.
The Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca, Ill. has completed work on a renovated patio and restaurant, which now are complete and open to the public, the Chicago Daily Herald reported.
Another round of renovations is scheduled to be completed in the fall that will feature upgrades to the resort’s bedding and provides updates to its event pavilion, with the addition of floor-to-ceiling windows for views of the golf course, the Daily Herald reported.
Eaglewood Resort & Spa is located on 104 acres and includes an 18-hole golf course, 295 guest rooms and suites, four dining venues, a fitness center, full-service spa, bowling alley and 37,000 sq. ft. of conference and event space.
General Manager Eric Bates told the Daily Herald that Englewood considers itself a unique resort in Illinois on many levels, and “now we are enhanced, due to the recent renovation.
“We now have more dining, relaxation and entertainment options than ever before,” Bates said. “Guest satisfaction and enjoyment is our number-one priority, and we are excited to share everything the one-of-a-kind Eaglewood Resort & Spa has to offer to locals, families, travelers and business professionals alike.”
According to the Daily Herald, the resort’s renovated Prairie River Restaurant offers views of the golf course, as well as an intimate outdoor patio and grand firepit.
The eatery specializes in American cuisine and features a full-service bar that offers hand-crafted cocktails and a large selection of popular local brews. Prairie River is also home to the resort’s popular and free Sounds of Summer concert series.
The Golf Club at Eaglewood is a par-72, championship USGA-certified course that offers private and group lessons.
