Darren J. Davis, Golf Course Superintendent at Olde Florida Golf Club in Naples, Fla., was elected president of the Everglades Golf Course Superintendents Association (EGCSA) at its annual meeting recently conducted at Wyndemere Country Club in Naples.
Davis, a Class A member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) has been employed at Olde Florida Golf Club since 1992. He is a Past President of the Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association and the Florida Turfgrass Association, and is a board member of the Musser International Turfgrass Foundation (fundraising organization for college scholarships).
