Cynthia Johnson has joined the leadership team of Escala as the Membership Director for Club Cielo, Seattle, Wash. In this role, Johnson will focus on cultivating a limited membership group and promoting Club Cielo, the first private club to open in the city in 20 years.

Most recently, Johnson was an owner and partner of London Flat, a home furnishings design studio, and the owner of Cynthia Johnson Designs, a residential and commercial design company. Previously she worked with Barclay Dean Interiors as Business Development Coordinator.

In addition to leading outreach to build the membership, Cynthia will also work closely with Club Cielo’s Advisory Committee to open the club and support the resident and nonresident members as they begin to use the club amenities including a wine cave, private dining rooms and a restaurant; an expansive events center; a fitness center with two resistance pools and treatment rooms for spa services; a private theater that can also be used for gatherings; and an outdoor garden terrace with a fireplace.
