Selected golf shops will be able to continue to offer NFL fan gear and lifestyle sportswear through the agreement, which has been extended for four years. Women’s sportswear is expected to show continued strong growth.
Cutter & Buck, Inc. has announced renewal of its agreement with the National Football League (NFL) to license the Cutter & Buck brand for NFL© fan gear and lifestyle sportswear for another four years.
Cutter & Buck has served as a licensee of the NFL for the past eight years. Through the new agreement, which will run through March 31, 2015, Cutter & Buck’s NFL sportswear will continue to be made available through selected golf shops, as well as at upscale department stores and off-course golf retailers, team stadium shops and concessionaires, and fan shops.
The sportswear is also available online at NFLShop.com and individual team web sites, as well as various retail sites.
“We’re very proud of our ongoing licensing relationship with the National Football League, and plan to take our lifestyle collection brand to the next level over the course of the four years of our agreement and beyond,” said Mark Sondheim, National Sales Manager for Cutter & Buck. “We complement what the other NFL licensees bring, and pride ourselves that we offer to the NFL market the highest level of quality and service.”
The Cutter & Buck lifestyle collection sportswear for the NFL includes short- and long-sleeve knit shirts, sweaters, outerwear/windwear, button-down woven shirts and bottoms for both men and women alike. The market for women’s licensed sportswear has grown steadily in recent years, which both Cutter & Buck and the NFL have noticed.
“We are working hard to cater to the diverse female NFL fan base,” Sondheim said. “Our approach represents a great synergy with the NFL since it, too, has launched a significant campaign to appeal to women.”
“Cutter and Buck has been a solid partner that has been committed to the NFL business for many years,” said Rhiannon Madden, Director of Apparel for the NFL. “We are very pleased to be continuing this relationship.”
