Crestview Country Club in Wichita, Kan. is ready to display its recently renovated north golf course when the four-day Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open tees off on August 6.
According to the Wichita Business Journal, club members financed nearly $1 million to install new zoysia fairways and to lengthen the first and ninth holes. The new fairways are the latest in a multimillion-dollar series of renovations in the past three years.
Wichita Open officials hope the renovations will increase the course difficulty for the tournament, part of the PGA’s Nationwide Tour.
