Whether indoors or out, corded or freestanding, this unique hot cabinet offers flexibility previously unheard of in the foodservice industry. Its adaptable unit switches easily from standard 120 Volt electric power to 8000 BTU’s of propane power with a flip of a switch. The outdoor heating propane options are as varied as an operation’s serving needs. The standard 1 lb. propane tank provides up to 8 hours of hold time. A built-in recessed well houses a spare 1 lb. propane canister. And operators can also easily convert with an optional hose adapter accessory to accommodate a 20 lb. tank system for all day events. An optional solar panel recharges the battery, which operates the control when electricity is not readily available.
This roomy, fully-insulated ¾ size holding cabinet holds prepared foods at ideal serving temperatures, heating up to 200°F (93°C). Nine sets of chrome plated wire universal angles accommodate a variety of pan sizes on adjustable 1-1/2” centers. Smooth interior coved corners prevent unsafe food particle and grease buildup.
Resting on heavy duty 8” semi-pneumatic swivel casters (two with brakes), the cabinet provides mobility when fully loaded, even during tough outdoor working conditions. The insulated door prevents temperature loss and is field reversible for flexibility. The safety-conscious anti-microbial magnetic latch protects against germs, keeping both guests and workers safe.
