Stirling Properties, the management firm for The University Club, Baton Rouge, La., recently celebrated the property’s newly renovated 18-hole championship golf course. The renovation began nine months ago through the support of the Louisiana State University golf program and the Tiger Athletic Foundation. Golf course architect Jim Lipe, along with PGA Pro David Toms, designed the course, which now includes a new set of championship tees, expanded lakes, the addition of over 500 trees, and a par-72 layout that extends to approximately 7,600 yards.
