Police are looking for a suspect who steals credit cards from locker rooms and then runs up bills at nearby stores.
Police in Kirkwood, Mo. (suburban St. Louis) are looking for a credit-card theft suspect who they say targets area country club members, reports KMOX-TV.
The suspect, an Hispanic man, 25 to 35 years old, wearing a gray-and-white striped shirt, was carrying an over-the-shoulder bag and driving a newer-model, white-colored GMC Arcadia.
Police say the suspect is responsible for stealing credit cards from the locker room at Westborough Country Club sometime on August 30.
The credit cards were later used at a nearby Target store, a restaurant, and an electronics store elsewhere in the St. Louis area for purchases that totaled over $4,900.
Police say the suspect is responsible for other credit card thefts at country clubs, using the same approach and then running up bills at other Target stores in the St. Louis suburbs.
