The Country Club at Soboba Springs in San Jacinto, Calif. will add a new driving range to complement its championship golf course just in time for the Soboba Classic—Southern California PGA’s Nationwide Tour tournament—scheduled at the club Sept. 28 through Oct. 4, reports The Press-Enterprise.
The San Jacinto City Council unanimously approved a use permit at a council meeting Tuesday for the project at the facility, owned by the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians.
The driving range will be on 12 acres with pole and net structures 60- to 125-feet high that should keep errant golf balls in a safe zone.
