The Boerne, Texas property’s latest amenity houses its collection of water sports equipment, fishing rods, and tackle, and also features a pro shop fully stocked with fishing, kayaking, and outdoor equipment and apparel.
Cordillera Ranch in Boerne, Texas has opened its new Outfitter Center, the site of its River Club and additional outdoor programs and activities.
Located near the center of the 8,700-acre community, the new Outfitter Center houses the club’s extensive collection of water sports equipment and fishing rods and tackle. It also features a pro shop fully stocked with fishing, kayaking, and outdoor equipment and apparel.
The Outfitter Center will also be the hub for guided fishing and river excursions coordinated by staff members, and provide kayak, fishing and other outdoor activity sales and repair. Members who own their own river equipment are encouraged to use the club’s shuttle service for river and fishing trips to access the Guadalupe River.
“We’re excited to open the new Outfitter Center for those who have a passion for the outdoors,” said Charlie Hill, President and Chief Operating Officer for DH Investments, developer of Cordillera Ranch. “The active lifestyle found at Cordillera Ranch is unrivaled among luxury communities in the region, and the Outfitter Center helps ensure our amenities match what our members and residents desire.”
The River Club is one of seven resort-style clubs at Cordillera Ranch. The other six clubs consist of The Social Club, The Tennis and Swim Club, The Equestrian Club, The Rod and Gun Club, The Spa and Athletic Club and The Golf Club. Perched high atop one of the many breathtaking hills found in the community, the 40,000-sq. ft. clubhouse is the social heart of the property, and features member dining facilities, a full fitness center, in-house spa, locker rooms, special event rooms, wine cellar, member lounge, four outdoor pools and golf shop.
C&RB featured the property in the April 2014 cover story, “Rounding Up Success.”
Cordillera Ranch boasts 0.25-acre villas, one- to 10-plus acre estates. Since its inception in 1997, nearly 800 homes have been completed (with more than 1,200 lot sales) in the 8,700-acre community. At final build-out, Cordillera Ranch will total approximately 2,500 homes and preserve approximately 80 percent of the land in its natural state.
