The 106-year-old Portland (Ore.) Golf Club recently renovated and upgraded its pro shop to coincide with a clubhouse renovation and create a consistent atmosphere and member experience throughout the club. The project included enlarging and upgrading a club fitting and performance studio within the shop, and creating space that can also be used for small events and functions. In this free webinar, Lonnie Lister, Portland GC’s General Manager, and principals from 2Hemispheres, the club’s partner for the project, will review the renovation process from start to finish, including business analysis, design concepts and strategic approaches to creating a more member-centric shopping experience. Ideas for “future-proofing” clubs to prepare for how the member experience may evolve will also be provided.
