The private club is highlighting the member experience through a series of short films, with the first, The Downeys, available to view now. A total of five films will be produced, with the second to be released later in March, the third in April, the fourth in June, and the fifth in August.
The private, family-oriented Columbus (Ohio) Country Club recently introduced the first short film in a five-part series highlighting what life is like at the club from the members’ perspectives.
The first short film in the series, titled “The Downeys,” explores the special relationship between a father and his son and the way the club and the game of golf has brought them closer together. A total of five short films will be produced by the club, with the second to be released later in March, the third in April, the fourth in June, and the fifth in August.

“We’re extremely proud of our new short film series and the way they document the legacy that lives within the club and highlight the rewarding lifestyle and experiences enjoyed by our members,” said General Manager Jay Frank. “Our members and our staff have really embraced the concept. We can’t thank the team at Anecdote Films enough for the work they’ve put into this project.”
Columbus Country Club, with a history dating back to 1903, features a Donald Ross-designed golf course, nine-hole executive course, eight tennis courts, large swimming pool, spacious clubhouse and a diverse entertainment calendar.
