Phil Keren, Senior Editor of Club + Resort Business, joined the staff in April 2022. Prior to coming to C+RB, Phil spent nearly 22 years working as a reporter and an editor for both daily and weekly newspapers. Phil was a reporter for the Akron Beacon Journal and affiliate weekly newspapers covering communities near Akron. He also logged 16 years working as editor of the Cuyahoga Falls News-Press, a weekly publication. While in that role, Phil won awards from the Ohio Newspaper Association for news coverage and editorial writing. Phil is married with three sons.
