The Bridgewater Club | 2023 Pro-Shop Award Submission
The Bridgewater Club has been on a three-year journey of evolving our merchandising program within our Pro Shop. In the first and second year, a great deal of focus and energy was placed on enhancing the feel and culture within the shop. The shop now offers a refined, casual shopping experience that sets the tone for the quality of luxury brands and high-ticket items!
The Pro Shop has expanded to include lines such as Peter Millar, Vineyard Vines, Johnnie-O, Turtelson, and Varly, as part of increasing brand offerings two-fold for both men and women. Custom-made displays present the hard goods department, and four-way garment displays with a matte black finish to elevate the shop’s visual appeal. Additionally, The Club has leaned into the “athleisure” trend, and the shop now offers high-performance clothing with UV protection and cooling technology, leisure footwear, and after-hours T-shirts.
In addition to enhancing our Pro-Shop through merchandise offerings and improving the overall culture, our Team has begun to implement Social Media Campaigns. These are weekly videos that are posted to both the Bridgewater Instagram and Facebook pages. Topics range from introducing and promoting our merchandise, themed holiday special sale events, promotion of golf club fittings and demo events as well as special merchandise shows throughout the year. One of our most successful videos to date covered the introduction of our NFL Indianapolis Colt’s Gear that we introduced at the beginning of the NFL season (Photos are Attached). This video generated over 4,480+ views and we sold 85% of our Colt’s Collection in the first forty-eight hours that it was on the floor. The success of sales from this Social Media Campaign alone has inspired us to expand our seasonal football offerings to include Indiana Hoosiers, Purdue Boilermakers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and Butler Bull Dog Gear.
We have been blown away by the success of our journey to improve the Pro Shop and are excited to continue to build off this momentum as we plan for 2024!
