Country Club.

Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott, Colo. named Andrew Hedrick, PGA, as General Manager and Director of Golf. Hedrick has been Head Golf Professional at The Country Club at Castle Pines in Colorado (2016-2020), First Assistant Golf Professional at Sanctuary, Inc., in Sedalia, Colo. (2010–2015), and as the Fleet Sales Manager for Colorado Golf & Turf (2020-2021). He began his career as an Assistant Golf Professional at Red Sky in 2008.
Yorba Linda (Calif.) Country Club named Tom Forburger as General Manager. Prior to joining Yorba Linda Country Club, Forburger served as Marriott International’s West Region Area Director.
East Potomac Golf Links in Washington, D.C. named Dave Ahart as General Manager. Ahart has 22-plus years of golf industry experience, having most recently served as Director of Golf at the 1757 Club in Dulles, Virginia. His career in golf began as a Pro Shop Assistant at Penderbrook Golf Club while he was attending George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. Since then, he has served as a Head Professional and General Manager at several clubs in Maryland and Virginia.
Burnt Store Marina Country Club in Punta Gorda, Fla. named John Abbott as General Manager. Abbott has 20-plus years of golf and hospitality experience having most recently served as the Head Golf Professional at Herons Glen Golf & Country Club in North Fort Myers, Fla. since 2012. During his career, Abbott has served as an Assistant Golf Professional, Teaching Professional, Head Golf Professional and General Manager.
Smoke Rise Country Club in Stone Mountain, Ga. named Paul Carey as General Manager. Carey was previously General Manager at Bentwater Golf Club in Acworth, Ga. and Eagle Watch Golf Club in Woodstock, Ga.
Omni Bedford (Pa.) Springs Resort appointed Dave Nostrand as General Manager. Nostrand was most recently Director of Sales and Marketing at the hotel for the past two years. Before Omni, he was most recently Director of Full-Service Brand Development for Hilton Worldwide headquarters.
Mallard Golf Club in Lake Charles, La. named Jonathan Jester, PGA as Head Golf Professional. Jester previously served as the Head Professional at Gray Plantation Golf Club in Lake Charles. He has also served as the Head Professional at the Holly Ridge Golf Course in Harbinger, N.C.
Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Mo. appointed Jeff Steen as the Director of Agronomy to oversee the resort’s five golf courses. Steen has more than 24 years’ experience managing premier golf resorts, including 13 years with the famed Pebble Beach Company. Steen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture and Turf-grass Management from Olds College in Olds, Alberta. In concert with Steen’s appointment, Big Cedar also announced the promotion of Steve Johnson to Senior Golf Course Superintendent. Johnson is a graduate of Mississippi State University and has managed golf courses for more than 34 years including the last 14 years with the regional golf courses.
BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. named Mike Stevens as Director of Agronomy. Stevens most recently served as the Southeast Director of Agronomic Programs for Indigo Golf Partners, a division of Troon, overseeing golf course maintenance, capital planning, renovations, and staff development in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana and Texas. From 2007 to 2010, he served as Superintendent of St. John’s Golf & Country Club in St. Augustine, Fla.
Bellerive Country Club in Town and Country, Mo. promoted David Beck to Director of Racquet Sports. Beck was previously Head Tennis Professional/Junior Coordinator at the club. Prior to joining Bellerive, Beck was Director of Tennis at Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh, N.C.
Gadsden (Ala.) Country Club named Diana Rosure as Director of Food and Beverage. Rosure has 18-plus years of hospitality industry experience including overseeing all areas of operations and food and beverage. She most recently served as a Sales Associate for the Observer Supply Company, but has been General Manager of the Harbor View Hotel in Martha’s Vineyard and at resorts in Encino, Calif. and in Riverside, Calif.
The Springs Golf Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif. named Valerie Roca as Membership Director. Roca was most recently Director of Membership at Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Country Club.
Silvies Valley Ranch in Seneca, Ore. named Georgia McNulty as Director of the Rocking Heart Spa, a 17,000 sq. ft. Native American-inspired spa. McNulty is a licensed massage therapist with an Associate of Applied Science degree who brings more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Troon has promoted Kris Strauss to Executive Vice President – Global Sales & Marketing. Strauss was previously Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Vice President of Sales and Marketing prior to that.
Bobby Jones Links named Doug Hellman as President of Business Development. His previous roles include managing director at ClubCorp and long-time senior vice president of business development for KemperSports Management.
