The Union Club of Cleveland (Ohio) named Preston Smith as General Manager/COO. Smith was most recently General Manager of Shaker Heights (Ohio) Country Club.
Naples Lakes Country Club in Naples, Fla. named Joseph Basso as General Manager/COO, John Cook as HOA Manager, and Dali Capullo as Human Resources Manager. Basso was most recently General Manager at Delaire Country Club in Delray Beach, Fla.; Cook was Association Manager at the 15-acre Shipps Landing, on nearby Marco Island, Fla.; and Capullo has held positions in the accounting and HOA offices at Naples Lakes for the past 12 years.
Contra Costa Country Club in Pleasant Hill, Calif. named Ryan Ott as General Manager/COO. Ott most recently served as General Manager of Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.
The Lookout Mountain (Ga.) Club named Andrew M. Orbison, CCM as General Manager/COO. Orbison was most recently Assistant General Manager at Augusta (Ga.) Country Club.
Augusta (Ga.) Country Club promoted Rick Romeus to Director of Clubhouse Operations. Romeus was previously Director of Member Dining at the club. The club also named Victoria Kwak as Assistant Golf Professional, starting at the end of August. Kwak is currently Assistant Golf Professional at Dunwoody Country Club.
The Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island, Mich. named Grant DeMoss as Director of Golf. Demoss most recently worked as a Golf Professional at Bent Brook Golf Course in Birmingham, Ala. and as Director of Golf at Heatherwood Golf & Country Club.
The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort in Simons Island, Ga. named Spencer Brookman, PGA as Director of Golf. Brookman was most recently Director of Golf at Jekyll Island (Ga.) Authority.
Valley Hill Country Club in Huntsville, Ala. named Greg Glover, PGA as Director of Golf. Glover was most recently Director of Golf at Rock Barn Country Club & Spa in Conover, N.C.
Hillcrest Country Club in Los Angeles, Calif. named Harrison Boundy, PGA as First Assistant Professional. Boundy was most recently Senior Assistant Professional at Les Bordes Golf Club in France.

Dale Hahn, Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nev. has been selected to join the 2022 Class of the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame.
The Cullasaja Club in Highlands, N.C. named Scott Craig, CEC, CCA, WCMC as Executive Chef. Scott was most recently Executive Chef at Myers Park Country Club in Charlotte, N.C.
NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio promoted Ryan Knapp to Director of Food and Beverage. Knapp was most recently Food and Beverage Manager at the club.
The JW Marriott Houston named Julio Cesar Valdivia as Executive Chef. Valdivia has more than 14 years of experience as an Executive Chef in Peru, Colombia, Dubai, India, and Costa Rica.

Prior to joining ClubWorks, Leemhuis spent four years as the President of Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Fla., and more than 16 years as Chief Executive Officer at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md.
The Vollrath Company named Brian Hedlund as Senior Vice President of Foodservice – US and Canada, which includes the business divisions Smallwares & Countertop Equipment, Serving Systems & Components and Stoelting Foodservice. Hedlund joined Vollrath in September of 2014 and previously served as Vice President Equipment.
John Lawrence, Director of Strategic Golf for The Toro Company has been chosen as the 2022 recipient of the ASGCA Donald Ross Award. The award is presented to a person who has made a significant contribution to the game of golf and the profession of golf course architecture.
