The mission is to continue to build and support Treviso Bay’s fitness and wellness program by providing uncompromising quality that meets the health and fitness needs of the community. An atmosphere of inclusiveness is encouraged, so no one feels intimidated and help is always made available, no matter what their ability level may be.
Fitness and Wellness Director Samantha Huntington and her team strongly believe in moving beyond being “just a gym” to become a complete, health-oriented fitness facility that is designed for the benefit of all. Complimentary bottled water and towel service are provided for members’ enjoyment as well as a complimentary fitness assessment, in addition to personal training programs and a wide range of class formats.
The fitness team also work closely with Treviso Bay’s golf and tennis departments to provide additional benefits for members looking to improve their game and performance. The club is always looking to expand its fitness offerings to add value and differentiate its facility.
During the past year Treviso Bay has implemented a weekly fitness and wellness newsletter that offers information and useful articles and fitness tips, all of which have been well-received. The community was also ahead of the curve early in 2020, after COVID initially caused the facility to shut down. The team quickly turned to creating online classes that could provide the community with live workouts, and a number of members continue to take classes this way, demonstrating how the club has retained its connection to its members during the pandemic while continuing to build its fitness culture.
In a recent survey, Treviso Bay homeowners expressed their appreciation for the club’s fitness/wellness approach, through comments that included “I am very proud of our fitness room and classes” and praise for how using the fitness center is “always a positive experience” with “great equipment and plenty for me to do.”
