Plainfield CC’s recently updated clubhouse maintains its traditional architectural style from 1940, with updated amenities and décor. The centerpiece of the building is named after the club’s original name, the Hillside Grille, and includes high ceilings, wooden beams, and a large U-shaped bar. Located on the highest point in Middlesex County, the Ccubhouse is surrounded with views of the New York City skyline, our Top 100 Donald Ross golf course, and the Watchung Mountains.

The existing clubhouse was built in 1940 and experienced several modest renovations over the next 70 years. In 2019 a $10 million comprehensive renovation/restoration was completed. The project included updates to every room and the redesign of Hillside Grill which is the centerpiece of the clubhouse.
