Club House History

The original clubhouse broke ground in December of 1966 and was fully operational by December of 1967. In June of 1983, a plan was presented to increase the existing 14,000 square foot building by 8,000 sq ft.; construction completed in April of 1984. As membership grew, Waynesborough needed more space. The original clubhouse was demolished in 2003 and a clubhouse twice the size was built in its place in 2004. In 2020, the clubhouse received a multi-million-dollar facelift. Included in the renovations was remodeling the dining facilities with more seating, a larger bar, lounge area with fireplace, and large glass windows to gaze at the golf course while you dine. Renovations were also made in the ballroom, other smaller event spaces, entryways, hallways, pro shop, and locker rooms, as well as the addition of a wine storage area for member use.
