Club House History
International isn't the same Club it was when our doors first opened...Founded in 1961, International Country Club is regarded for its award-winning golf course above all else. While the Club recognizes its golf course as their leading asset, they set out to offer an award-winning clubhouse to complement their course. The $11.4 million realization of spacious new interiors and resort-style amenities to the Clubhouse took place in 2018. The clubhouse expanded the building to create three distinct dining venues, including a casual dining space with tables, banquet seating, buffet station, and a handsome wine display. In addition, a separate Pub area was developed, complete with a 16-seat, crosstalk bar, communal dining table, and lounge seating. This design helped create a “socialization hub” and vibrant bar atmosphere for members—truly making this a place where members want to spend time with significant others and friends.
A private dining venue was also reimagined to create a smaller, intimate gathering place for “date night” where couples could dine after enjoying a drink or cocktail in the Pub. A significant portion of the expansion also allowed for the development of a covered outdoor dining terrace with direct access to all three dining venues.
The Banquet Room bolsters sophisticated light fixtures, refined table arrangements, and wall details for a polished event space. The building was also expanded on this end of the building to create a larger pre-function area with direct access to the existing outdoor deck. New banquet restrooms are located adjacent to the space, as well as a renovated Board Room and Private Function room for intimate gatherings and smaller member events.
From seating arrangements to aesthetic improvements to functional furnishings and spatial planning—all aspects of the facility were addressed meticulously. The design includes stone materials, wooden accents, and beautiful decorative lighting. All dining spaces boast large, floor-to-ceiling windows to allow ample natural light to flow into each space. Additionally, elegant fireplaces and chic furnishings complement the lounge areas to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Every inch of the 49,000 SF clubhouse embodies the Club’s vision toward the future and encourages connectivity among the membership.
